About the team

At Clevedon Cricket Club (CCC), we have a thriving youth section that provides opportunities for boys and girls to play cricket from the age of 5 upwards. Our aim is simple: to welcome children into the game of cricket, support them to develop their skills, and most importantly ensure they have fun as part of the Clevedon Cricket Club community.

Our Programmes

Ages 5–10: All Stars & Dynamos
For our youngest players, we run the ECB All Stars and Dynamos Cricket programmes during May and June. These sessions are a brilliant introduction to cricket, focusing on fun, confidence, and basic skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Ages 9–16: Youth Hardball Cricket
For children aged 9 to 16, we offer a hardball youth section with teams that compete in local leagues. This pathway supports players as they develop their skills, understanding of the game, and love for competitive cricket.

Girls’ Cricket
We run a girls’ team for those interested in softball cricket, providing a welcoming and inclusive environment for girls to enjoy the game and be part of the club.

Coaching
We provide a combination of professional coaching, supported by a dedicated network of volunteer coaches. We have a number of ECB-qualified coaches and are always keen to increase our numbers. If you are interested in getting involved in coaching, please let us know — support and development opportunities are available.

Our Volunteers
Like many sports clubs, CCC is run by volunteers. Within the youth section, this is largely parents who help manage teams, provide refreshments, act as scorers, and support matchdays. Cricket is a very social sport, so if you’re able to get involved in any way, we would love to hear from you.

We look forward to welcoming you to Dial Hill.
