WEPL Premier One
Clevedon 206-9, Taunton Deane 209-7

Clevedon have been crowned WEPL Premier One champions for the second time in four seasons, despite defeat at Taunton Deane on the final day of the season.

The Dial Hill side began the afternoon three points clear of second place Potterne, whose heavy defeat at Bedminster all but handed the title to Clevedon.

Jared Warner's half-century and 43 from Cam Harding helped Clevedon recover from 64-5 to post 206 from their 45 overs, but despite slumping to 112-5, Deane reached their target with plenty to spare.

But it didn't dampen the Clevedon celebrations.
