We are very excited at the prospect and can’t wait to everyone back at Dial Hill.
We are aiming to provide as many opportunities as we can to give existing players, and those new to cricket, the chance to get involved in 2021.
We will, of course, make whatever adjustments are required to meet the latest Government Covid requirements and the guidance from the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). We anticipate, at least at the start of the season, that this will be similar to the arrangements in place for last season, including restrictions on sharing kit.
Below is information on all of the options available at the different age groups together with details on how to register. We have also provided some attachments and links with important supporting information.
Early registration and payment of membership fees would be very much appreciated please.
It is really important that all youth players are registered with the club, and this year more than ever, the sooner we know how many want to play the better. This will enable us to ensure we have sufficient coaches and have the right numbers of teams entered in the various age related leagues and competitions.
As with many sporting clubs our finances have been impacted by the pandemic, for example the income we make from the bar which supports a lot of what we do has been significantly reduced. Your membership fees are an important part of the income that the club relies on.
Thank you for your support of Clevedon Cricket Club and if you have any questions please do email clevedoncricketclub@gmail.com.
We can’t wait to see you at Dial Hill and look forward to a great summer of cricket.
With very best wishes
John Vanstone
Chair of Youth Cricket

Holiday Clubs
Now that we know cricket can start we will be exploring the options to put on some holiday clubs as we have done in previous years. We will provide more information on this when we can.
We are a ‘Clubmark club’ and we adhere to the ‘Safe Hands’ Policy for Safeguarding Children in Cricket. All the adults at the club who work with children and meet the necessary criteria are vetted by the ECB. This includes the enhanced DBS and ‘Barred List’ check (formerly known as CRB checks).
Whilst we hope your child will be happy and content at the club, we understand that sometimes questions, concerns or difficulties may arise. Please feel able to raise these as soon as possible, so we can rectify things at the earliest opportunity. If you have any concern about your child or another child, or about the behaviour of any adult at the club, please speak to the Club Welfare officers – you can contact Lyn Bibbing 01275 876946 & Gail Payne 01275 876205 (If your concern is about the Club Welfare officers, you may contact the County Welfare Officer on tel. 01823 444779 or email raysomcricket@randj.org.uk).
