Clevedon exit National Cup as Ealing dominate at Dial Hill

Clevedon were knocked out of the ECB Club Championship at the last-16 stage after a thumping nine-wicket defeat at the hands of Ealing on Sunday.

Batting first, Clevedon could only muster 109 as the Ealing attack took control of the game. Will Thirkell (24) top scored for the hosts, but they finished up a long way short of a competitive total.

And so it proved, with the Middlesex side storming home inside 16 overs to book their place in the last eight of the competition.
