Gloucestershire's rising star, Ben Charlesworth has signed on with Clevedon CC for the 2019 season.
The all-rounder, who made his First Class debut for the county in 2018 while also representing England at U19 level, will be available for Jake Lintott's side when his county commitments allow, as they go about defending their WEPL Premier One title.
‘I’m really excited to have Ben on board for this summer," said First XI captain, Lintott.
"He’s one of the most exciting young players in the country and to have one of him, Ryan Higgins and Kyle Abbott available each week, when their commitments allow, is brilliant.
"He is a genuine all-rounder who will add a lot of character to our dressing room and I am sure he will do very well at the top of the order and with the ball."
Charlesworth added: “I’m delighted to be joining Clevedon this season, I’ve heard really good things about the direction the club is moving in and I hope I can contribute to more success for the team this year.”
