All Stars Cricket returns to Dial Hill for the 2018 season, with the number of youngsters signing up looking set to eclipse the 2017 total of 85.

"It was amazing to see so many young cricketers - and their families - at the club on a Friday evening, so we're really excited for this season's offering."
- Paul Jenkins, club chairman

After more than 80 youngsters signed up for the 2017 programme, the ECB's All Stars Cricket returns to Dial Hill in 2018 - with 38 already signed up for this season's campaign.

The All Star Cricket programme - for children aged five to eight - kicks off at Clevedon Cricket Club on Friday, April 27th - 5:30pm-6:15pm. Nationally, the programme gets under way on Friday, May 11th - but due to the popularity of last season, Clevedon Cricket Club is offering two extra weeks free of charge.

Clevedon Cricket Club's junior section coaches will once again deliver the programme this summer - with early sign-up numbers pointing to an even bigger attendance this season.
Led by long-serving first XI player, Matt Carpenter, the 2017 programme attracted youngsters from across North Somerset.

"Last season's All Stars programme was a huge success at Dial Hill and one of the highlights of the summer," said club chairman, Paul Jenkins.

"It was amazing to see so many young cricketers - and their families - at the club on a Friday evening, so we're really excited for this season's offering."

All Stars Cricket is a nationwide programme that is designed to inspire five-to eight-year-olds to take up cricket and provide a great first experience of the game.

Putting fun right at the centre of this experience, All Stars Cricket aims to instill children with a lifelong love of our sport.

We want today's kids to remain in cricket for the long-term - whether that's as players, volunteers, officials or spectators.
