Clevedon Cricket Club is delighted to announce the return of Hampshire and former South Africa international, Kyle Abbott, who has re-registered with the club for the 2019 season.

Abbott, who played 11 Tests, 28 ODIs and 21 T20Is for the Proteas before signing for Hampshire in 2017, first played for Clevedon in 2007.

In his debut season at Dial Hill, Abbott was named WEPL Bristol & Somerset division’s Player of the Year having taken 44 wickets at 13.66 and scored 417 runs at 41.70.

The 31-year-old has also played for Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, as well as county cricket for Worcestershire.

Abbott will be available for selection for Clevedon when his county duties with Hampshire allow.
